Camping La Rocca

Good enough camping spots with shadow. Clean and new buildings. However not really the type of camping we where looking for. There where a lot of parties that went far beyond the time that it should be quit. We where hoping to do some morning activities but that was not possible due to the lack of sleep. We decided to go to a different lake, and did not get our money back (as they said they wouldn’t do in advance while booking).

Myself and my partner stayed here 3 nights and the price came out as €84.60 which included the city tax. We had a 2 man tent and a car with no electricity. We had the nicest neighbors. If you walked less than a minute you were on the lake and the views are amazing! Bathrooms are clean and modern. Also a swimming pool if you don’t fancy swimming in the lake. Between the cheap price of staying and the views we think it’s a 5 star spot!

I was very satisfied about the stay and the condition of houses and bathrooms. The most important thing was the job done by the cleaners. But there also was a bad experience about the place. I usually leave some tips for the cleaning personel. I talked to one of them about their job and we went down to the topic of tips. And they said that they didn't find anything inside the house. I left 10 Euros for each the day before. Then I talked with friends, who were there on holiday earlier. They said that there is a rumour that the owner collects all the tips, left by customers for these ladies working all day to keep the houses and toilets clean. I'm asking myself: Are these tips for the owner? Or for them? Is this fair? If I want to tip the owner, I'll just give it in the reception. I guess I have to give tips directly to cleaners. This is the only thing that keeps me thinking about coming there next time. I just don't like this type of behavior.

Great place ( closed to desenzano and Salo) and location was perfect, very quiet for holidays in family. Easy Access to 2 different beaches which are one of the best of the Lago, not overcrowded, beautiful landscape. Thé little Harbor (porto torchio) close to the camping ils sufficient for différent Nautic activités or for food. Human sized camping, very very clean bathroom and beautiful swimmingpool. The size of pitches are not the biggest one, but are correct with a lot of shadows from trees. In addition The personnal was also very benevolent. Very very happy of this camping, I recommand.

This place was so disappointing! Ladie in reception was so unwelcoming and couldn't roll her eyes any further after I told her that my method of payment is card. After all day cycling all we wanted to do was hop in the pool. Unfortunately as soon as we got in we were told that we need to wear a cap if we want to stay in the pool. They don't provide them so I guess you need to purchase them from on site shop. I felt like going back in time to 1980s! There is min payment of 10€ in the shop so if you want just water and have no cash you better buy swimming cap as well to make it a tenner.
